Insurrection Against Governmentalism

How can you even dream,
When you can’t fall asleep?
You lie stark awake,
In a reality beyond understanding.
It’s hard to lie down,
But it’s the bed you make,
And it’s something you can’t change.

How can you even hope,
When you’re far from it?
You stay in a tormenting reality,
A reality you can’t understand.
Despite the pain,
It’s you yourself to be blamed,
Because it’s who you are.

How can you not trip,
Over its many faults?
The floor is unforgiving,
But it’s the ground that you stand.
And when you fall,
You pick yourself up alone,
Without a single whimper.

How can you not get hurt,
Though it’s their fault?
They are relentless,
But they’re the ones you rely on.
And when you make mistakes,
You pick yourself up alone,
Without a complain.

Poem wise,
it's very nice.
REALLY very emotional.
Can really feel the angst behind your words.
